AIDA Cruises, a leading cruise line company, faced the challenge of optimizing its pricing and capacity planning. Existing processes were inefficient and unstructured, with manual Excel-based workflows for catalog pricing and a spartan interface for operational pricing. The lack of automation led to wasted time and a lack of documentation, which made the approval process and audits difficult. A standard solution was not feasible due to the individual workflows and data structures.
